Red Dress Day

May 5, 2025

Today, on Red Dress Day,

we honour and remember the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).

The empty red dresses are a powerful symbol of the voices that have been silenced. As we reflect, we also call for justice, awareness, and meaningful change to ensure safety, dignity, and respect for all Indigenous women and girls.

Let us stand together in remembrance and action.
