Examples of these abilities are:

 
 
physical
  • Handling food and objects with hands and fingers (able to hold a cup without dropping or spilling contents.
  • Walking or moving around with confidence and ease.
 
self-
  • Able to repeat clearly and correctly what is said, speak clearly in sentences of up to 5 words.
  • Responds to everyday interactions including sound, light, touch in a positive manner.
 
comprehension
  • Can follow simple verbal instructions

 

 

Sharing your child’s particular needs before they are to enter the school setting will help with programming and support services.
