For more than 30 years, Saskatchewan has recognized one full week to celebrate education. Education Week, from October 16 to 22, celebrates student success and the hard work and dedication of education professionals across the province. We encourage citizens to take some time during this special week to recognize the importance education has on our students and communities.
This year's theme is Reaching for Tomorrow, Celebrating Today.
The theme highlights the role of education in supporting students in reaching and building for their future and the shared future of our province. This is achieved through collaboration amongst the province, education stakeholders, teachers, parents and students.
The theme speaks to the importance of celebrating today and the present moment while understanding that growth can be achieved by looking into the future!
