SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
ATHABASCA DENESULINE EDUCATION AUTHORITY (ADEA) is hiring a summer student to join our Prince Albert Education Authority office team!
Summer students will have an opportunity to gain office work experience while developing the skills necessary to be successful in their future.
The summer student will have an opportunity to improve their teamwork and communications skills, as well as their administrative skills and capabilities.
This position provides additional support, as required, to our team and includes a broad range of responsibilities:
- Greeting and interacting with visitors
- Responding to inquires in a professional and pleasant manner
- Providing administrative assistance to the various departments in order to support the accomplishment of business activities
- Sorting and processing educational materials that are received
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be a Denesuline First Nation, with primary residence in Athabasca communities
- You must between 18 – 31 years of age
- Intend to enroll in a post secondary program and/or return to school on a full-time basis in the Fall
- Must have organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate communications skills in the Dene language and English language
- You must have a positive and friendly attitude
